Rates are dependent on location, size of audience, and length of the address. Generally, small club meetings or book readings in San Diego County are free so long as the author is given the opportunity to pitch Hikes with Tykes and can offer a book signing time. Addresses to audiences of larger than 20 people carry a small fee. Areas outside of the San Diego region require a small fee that cover transportation, meal and potentially lodging expenses. Rates are negotiable and filling fast.
